Powermaster Fire Tube Boilers
Steam and Hot Water Fire Tube Boilers from 5 to 1,500 HP
We are proud to add Powermaster to our product line. Powermaster has been in the boiler business since 1949 and builds fire tube boilers for the production of steam and hot water. Every unit is designed and manufactured in accordance with the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code. Whether you need a compact 5 HP vertical boiler for a small plant or a 1,500 HP Scotch marine package for a large industrial facility, there is a Powermaster boiler sized for the job.
Each model is available in high or low pressure, fires on natural gas, LP gas, or oil, and ships as a packaged unit that will suit any brand of burner — so we can match the boiler to the burner, controls, and fuel your facility already runs.
- VT3 — 5 to 60 HP – Compact vertical two-pass fire tube boiler producing saturated steam at 15 or 150 PSIG, fired on natural gas or LP gas. A small-footprint package with an annunciator panel, primary and secondary low-water cutoffs, level gauge, safety relief valve, and dual bottom blowdowns.
- SWB — 10 to 60 HP – Horizontal semi-wet-back, three-pass Scotch marine package rated for 15, 150, 200, or 250 PSIG, fired on natural gas, LP gas, #2 oil, or digester gas. Large steam dome, structural steel base, gas-side relief valves, and a compact refractory backing door.
- WB-A2-3P — 80 to 1,500 HP – Horizontal wet-back, three-pass Scotch marine boiler with a corrugated furnace and large steam dome, rated for 15, 150, 200, or 250 PSIG, fired on natural gas, LP gas, #2 oil, #6 oil, or digester gas. No refractory in the doors, with man-hole access to the wet-back for inspection.
Hot water versions of the same platforms — VT3-HW, SWB-HW, WB-A2-4P-HW (80 to 1,000 HP), and WB-A2-3P-HW (80 to 1,500 HP) — are built for closed-loop hydronic systems, process drying, and absorption chiller circuits.
Most Powermaster boilers are UL and cUL listed as a boiler-burner package under UL/cUL 726 (oil) and 795 (gas), and all data reports are registered with the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors.
